Fatboy Slim’s come a long way, baby. In the late 90s, Norman Cook defined the big beat era, topped the charts and went multi-platinum. Now – more than 25 years later – he’s still defying expectations on his frequent global odysseys.

Among a litany of amazing-sounding shows that Cook has played recently include performing at the Big Brother house in Brazil and even on the Great Wall Of China.

But now the iconic Grammy-winning DJ is going back to basics with a forthcoming tour of ‘nice characterful old ballrooms in Britain’ on the ‘Acid Ballroom’ tour.

In short, there’s no stopping him – and the show must go on.

“I can still get away with it,” he said.

“It doesn’t matter that you’re old and bald and grey and fat, because you were never a sex symbol in the first place. We’re pushing new limits. No one knows what the cut-off age limit of a DJ is. And apparently, it’s not yet. I take great delight in that.”
