Seann Walsh to ponder on our strange times

Comedian, actor and podcaster Seann Walsh will be bringing his new tour to Warrington later this year.

The 36-year-old – described as ‘unquestionably the best observational comic of his generation’ by the national Guardian newspaper – will be stopping off to perform his latest show, Back From The Bed, at Pyramid Arts Centre on Friday, November 18.

It is a routine that has been redesigned for the strange times we have all found ourselves in – but in Seann’s inimitable and self-deprecating style.

He said: “I guess I can start with the fact I renamed the tour. Sticking with ‘Same Again?’ felt a bit triggering after the year we’ve had. So it is now called Back from the Bed. Some of the material will be the same as I had always planned and some of it will be new because it will be difficult to avoid mentioning the last year in which millions of decent people tragically lost their lives to TikTok.

“The previous leg of this tour got a lot of standing ovations, which was pleasing. Either that or they were leaving early. Come along if you like me. I’d be confident enough to say come along if you’re on the fence…”

Seann loves nothing more than getting back to the intimacy and immediacy of the comedy circuit whenever he can.

But, no stranger to the small screen, he has built up a profile for himself after a number of high profile appearances on the telly.

Seann has starred in The Stand Up Sketch Show and Netflix’s Flinch and has appeared on the likes of Live At The Apollo, Tonight at The London Palladium, Celebrity Juice, 8 Out of 10 Cats (C4), Alan Carr’s Chatty Man and The Jonathan Ross Show. He is also an ambassador for the Campaign Against Living Miserably charity.
