Our plans for the State Funeral

As the UK observes national mourning, we’d like to update you on our plans for the day of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral which is taking place on Monday, 19 September.

As a mark of respect and to commemorate the Queen’s 70-year reign, all of our buildings will be closed at this time.

Normal service will resume on Tuesday, 20 September, and thank you in advance for your understanding.

In line with the latest official guidance, all of our events are otherwise taking place as normal. If there are any further changes we will let you know as soon as possible.

You can also pay your respects in Warrington in the following ways:

• A book of condolence can be signed at the Town Hall.
• Flowers can be laid on the Town Hall lawn.
• There will be a gathering at the Town Hall with the Mayor during the National Moment of Reflection on Sunday, 18 November, at 8pm. All are welcome.
